I'm Angela, the "Farmer's Wife". I have been married to the "Farmer" for nearly 15 years and we have 2 beautiful, smart children who are 8 and 12. We are not your average farm family, and try to find a balance between farm living and city life. We live on 8ish acres nestled somewhere between Milwaukee and Madison, WI. We have a big, red barn, a pond, a cozy little ranch-style home, dogs, cats, ducks and chickens and we raise honey bees. Landscapers by trade, we enjoy planting and gardening around our yard and do raise a modest vegetable garden each year.

Back in 2011, I started a small blog over on another platform and after life with 2 kids picked up and social media took over my life, I stopped updating it in 2016. After trying to log into the old blog about twelve zillion times with no success, I decided to just start another blog. New look, same name.

 

Thanks for joining me here at FWLCL - I'm glad you stopped by! I've recently deleted all of my social media accounts in an effort to simplify my life and it has been an extremely freeing experience. I cannot recommend it enough! But, alas, I have found myself desiring some kind of outlet for my thoughts, family happenings, and the occasional photo. So I figured resurrecting my blog would be the perfect balance between social media nonexistence and oversharing!
